Direct payments (DP) team

Direct payments allow individuals to receive payments from the authority instead of commissioned care services, offering them much greater flexibility and control of support packages to meet their eligible needs.

The team promote and manage the council’s statutory responsibilities in relation to direct payments working with individuals and their families to support with setting up and monitoring the direct payment arrangements.
