Who can apply?
This is a county councillor led grant scheme and all applications must be endorsed by the relevant county councillor. You can find your county councillor using this link: Your Councillors. You must first approach your councillor to discuss your application.
If the councillor supports your initiative in principle you can apply for funding by completing the pre-application form online. This will send an automatic notification to the named county councillor asking them to confirm their endorsement.
If your county councillor does confirm their endorsement, a link to complete the full application form will be emailed to you for you to complete.
Groups eligible to apply:
- Community or voluntary groups
- Registered charities
- Community interest companies
- Town and parish councils
- Sports groups and associations
- Schools and academies
- Patient led groups
- Religious groups where the application demonstrates that the initiative will bring wider community benefit, and the primary purpose of the activity is not religious
- Organisations located outside of Gloucestershire where the application demonstrates that the funding will primarily benefit a Gloucestershire community
This scheme is intended to support grassroots community organisations, therefore, the following groups/projects are not eligible:
- Sole Traders
- For profit organisations
- Funding for an individual
- Funding overseas travel
- Funding to improve roads
- Funding to support political campaigns or activities
