What are the reasons for not complying with my request?

There are occasions when we might not be able to comply with your request. These include:

• Where the right does not apply to your data.
• Where you don’t agree with a recorded professional opinion, as this does not necessarily mean that the information is incorrect. In these cases, we will arrange to have your view added to your file.
• If an exemption applies your request may be refused in whole or in part.
• If your request is manifestly unfounded or excessive.
