The police, regulators and other investigators

The council's Information Management Service (IMS) acts as a single point of contact (SPOC) for formal enquiries from the police and other investigators where there isn't a joint working arrangement already in place.

IMS may also receive requests for information from statutory bodies and regulators (e.g. OFSTED, CQC). There is often a legal obligation what we share data with these organisations.
