What is Connect to Work?
- A free programme supporting people with disabilities, health conditions, or other barriers to find and keep work
- Funded by the Department for Work and Pensions and delivered by Gloucestershire Employment and Skills Hub
- Open to residents who are out of work or are at risk of dropping out of work due to a barrier
How does it work?
- 1:1 personalised support from an Employment Specialist
- Vocational profiling and job matching
- Links to local opportunities
- Funding for travel, training, and work costs
- Help before, during, and after starting work
Who can benefit from it?
- Individuals facing barriers: disability, health concerns, care experience, homelessness, survivor of domestic abuse, veteran, refugee, history of drug or alcohol dependency, or a young person at risk of serious violence.
- Local employers seeking inclusive recruitment and retention support
- Community partners working to improve employment outcomes
