What is Connect to Work?

  • A free programme supporting people with disabilities, health conditions, or other barriers to find and keep work
  • Funded by the Department for Work and Pensions and delivered by Gloucestershire Employment and Skills Hub
  • Open to residents who are out of work or are at risk of dropping out of work due to a barrier

  • 1:1 personalised support from an Employment Specialist
  • Vocational profiling and job matching
  • Links to local opportunities
  • Funding for travel, training, and work costs
  • Help before, during, and after starting work


Who can benefit from it?

  • Individuals facing barriers: disability, health concerns, care experience, homelessness, survivor of domestic abuse, veteran, refugee, history of drug or alcohol dependency, or a young person at risk of serious violence.
  • Local employers seeking inclusive recruitment and retention support
  • Community partners working to improve employment outcomes
