Published
As part of Flood Action Week (12-18 October), we're supporting the Environment Agency's national campaign to help communities prepare for flooding ahead of the winter season.

Now is a good time to remind ourselves, our families and our communities about the practical steps that can reduce the impact of flooding, from signing up for flood warnings to knowing what to do before, during and after an incident.

Members can find our Flood guide | Gloucestershire County Council for local advice and information, alongside the new national Flood Action Online. resources being launched by the Environment Agency. With autumn and winter approaching, and the potential for more extreme weather, preparedness is more important than ever. Taking a few simple steps now can make a significant difference when severe weather arrives. There will be lots of content on social media - if you're able to share it that would be great.
