The Member Development Plan
The member development plan is designed to support Councillors to have the skills and understanding required to perform their Councillor duties. The calendar of events for 2023 can be found below. The page will be regularly updated as new trainings and new information for the trainings is added. Members are encouraged to attend all trainings when possible.
As well as internally run training, the plan will highlight events hosted by the Local Government Association. Each month, one or two webinars (when available) will be selected but Members are welcome to explore other webinars provided by the LGA by following this link. If there are extra webinars you wish to attend, please contact rosie.kenyon@gloucestershire.gov.uk for help with registering your attendance. More events will be added as they are scheduled by the LGA. Members are also encouraged to make use of the LGA's e-learning resources.
