We provide an opportunity for you :

to have a greater understanding for the broad role of the EP and the wider roles they hold within a Local Authority context

Gloucestershire EPS hosts an Assistant Educational Psychologist Programme
This forms part of the Gloucestershire EPS Workforce Development Strategy.
The aims of the programme are to:
- Develop workforce capacity to meet local demand for Educational Psychologists
- Ensure a supply of suitably experienced Assistant EPs eligible to join university professional training programmes.
- Boost EPS capacity in providing a comprehensive Educational Psychology Service
across Gloucestershire.
Assistant EPs in Gloucestershire support the work of the EPS in the local area and give more specific support to County wide initiatives and support functions.
In line with professional guidance (British Psychological Society, Association of Educational Psychologists) our Assistant Educational Psychologists work under the direction, supervision and support of HCPC registered Educational Psychologists.
