Gloucestershire Educational Psychology Service are providing a focus on recognising Refugee Week.
Content:
Gloucestershire Educational Psychology Service wish to recognise refugee and children/young people seeking asylum and their families, with a focus on strengths and successes whilst considering aspects which may support these children and young people in education settings.
Research indicates that this group may be ‘hidden’, therefore the aim is to promote awareness through offering guidance to education professionals for identifying and supporting refugees and children and families seeking asylum effectively to promote positive outcomes.
