Qualifying Criteria

The scheme is to support the cost of food for children attending a school in Gloucestershire, in reception to year 11 and who receive Pupil Premium (income-related) free school meals. We are unable to consider college and sixth form students, as well as children who receive universal free school meals, as they are not eligible for this scheme.

We check eligibility for the scheme by cross-referencing with the term-time free school meal register, so please make sure children are registered before applying for this scheme.

Child eligibility criteria:

• Must be enrolled and attend a school in Gloucestershire
• Be in Reception to year 11
• In receipt of Pupil-Premium (income related) free school meals

Claimant Criteria

• Legal Guardian of the child(ren) being claimed for
• Not be in receipt of other funding for the same support
• Only 1 claim per child

If you are a new applicant/have never applied for Free School Meals, you can check eligibility and register on the Free School Meal webpage. Once successfully registered for term-time free school meals you can sign up to the holiday voucher scheme via the link on the application page.

If your school is independent and opted to administer their free school meal applications themselves rather than apply through Gloucestershire County Council, we will require confirmation from the school directly on the child’s eligibility.
