Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) programme

The HAF programme is funded by the Department for Education and is run during the School Holidays in Gloucestershire. The programme supports children and young people who receive benefits-related Free School Meals, though has been extended during previous holidays to be accessible to all children and young people in Gloucestershire.

The programme offers day-time activities for children and young people, and a meal or food kit will be provided during each session.

Training is being offered to all host sites to ensure that sessions are inclusive, and that staff understand how to support children and young people with additional needs. However, there are some specifically tailored sessions available for children with additional needs.
