Our website provides a range of information and advice about care and support options. This includes many things that you, or the person you care for, can do for yourself to live well for longer.

If you need further support, our Adult Social Care Helpdesk can discuss your individual needs and the options available to you, and arrange a free adult social care assessment, if required. This is an opportunity for you to talk about what’s important to you and what you want to achieve. 

After your assessment, if you are eligible for care, a means-tested financial assessment enables us to understand your financial situation and determines how much you will have to pay. If you are assessed as being able to pay the full cost of your care, you may make your own care arrangements and we can provide information to help you do this.
