Can I apply if I have previously received funding from the Thriving Communities Grant Scheme?

Yes, organisations can apply again even if they have previously received funding.

Can I apply more than once in the same funding year?

Yes, organisations can apply more than once, but applications must be for different projects.

Do you only fund new projects, or will you fund core costs?

We accept applications for both new projects and core costs that meet the criteria of the scheme.

Is there an income limit for organisations wishing to apply?

No, there isn't an income limit for organisations. However, please note that for-profit businesses cannot apply.

Do I have to apply for the full £7,500? 

No, you can apply for any amount up to £7,500, starting from a minimum of £500.

Can retrospective costs be included in my application?

No, you can't include retrospective costs in your application.

Can countywide organisations apply?

Countywide organisations can only apply if the delivery of the project is at a locality in Gloucestershire.

I need help with my application - who can I contact?

If your organisation is new to making a funding application, or you haven't written one for a while and would like some independent support, the Gloucestershire Rural Community Council (GRCC) can help you. You can contact their Community Development Team at: cdt@grcc.org.uk (please state your project’s location and district).

How can I get in touch with the Thriving Communities Grant Team?

You can email the team directly at: thrivingcommunities@gloucestershire.gov.uk. Our Mailbox is monitored Monday to Friday and we aim to reply as quickly as possible. However, due to the high volume of emails we receive, we may not be able to get back to you straightaway.
