Ros Gil: Shared Lives Officer

I Joined the lovely Shared Lives Team in May 2018. Prior to this I was a Support Planner for Gloucester County Council Disabilities Team for 6 years. I have also worked in different County Council Respite Units, Day Centres and Outreach work for adults with Learning Disabilities. I love supporting Shared Lives to develop and flourish here in Gloucestershire and its continued model of care, that can make a real difference to peoples lives. One of my roles will be to set up and facilitate quarterly support group meetings for the carers, I will also be networking in the Stroud and District area with a view to expanding and promoting Shared Lives and to recruit new carers. So exciting times to follow.
