Trevor and Shantelle visit John and Sue

Trevor says: "I’ve been a part of Shared Lives for six years and I spend every Monday and Wednesday with John and Sue. They support me to do lots of different activities which I couldn’t do without their help. I like going shopping with John and we go out for coffee and snacks. “I don’t like changes in my life so I went to visit Sue and John first so I could see what it was like and then I wasn’t worried about it. I love visiting Sue and John as I get to sing, dance and dress up."

Shantelle says: “I have been part of Shared Lives for eight years. I spend every Monday and Wednesday with Sue and John and weekends. They support me to go to different places and give mummy a rest. Sue visited me and my mummy, so I knew them before I stayed at their house. I love helping with the ponies and I like to ride one called Cassie.”

Trevor and Shantelle love visiting Sue and John and their lives are enriched by their visits. They both love to bounce on the trampoline and play with the dogs, throwing the ball to them to fetch. Sue and John also have ponies which they like to help with and ride.
