What is the Carers Partnership Board?

The Carers Partnership Board is a forum for organisations and individuals wanting to raise awareness of the issues faced by carers and improve health and social care services for carers within the county.

The Board meets 4 times a year and we publish minutes from previous meetings on our website.

"In Gloucestershire, we are working hard to support unpaid carers, and fully recognise the vital role they play within our health and social care system, within our communities, and with the individuals they support. The Carers Partnership Board works hard to understand the issues facing carers today, but also to look to the future, trying to anticipate need and ensure that our support organisations are working effectively together to offer the services and advice that our carers need. We are in awe of the strength of our carers throughout the county, and strive to be a partner to them as they fulfil their absolutely vital role, aiming to work with them collaboratively to create core services, trust and a strong and sustainable commitment to excellent quality care."  (Jo Davies - Chair)
