To help keep the roads safe in winter

Our fleet of 29 gritters are on standby 24/7 through the colder months to treat priority routes. Use your nearest salt bin to treat smaller roads and public paths.

Every year we clear more than 130,000 gullies across the county

If you notice a drain is blocked with leaves, you can clear it yourself, if it is safe to do so. Or report it to us on FixMyStreet.
