Level 1 - SFRA
Level 1 SFRA
The Strategic Flood Risk Assessments (SFRA) were undertaken in 2008 using the most up to date information at that time. However, we would now regard the Environment Agency’s flood maps as a more up to date and appropriate source to use for flood risk information.
The Level 1 SFRA involves:
- Establishing relationships and understanding the planning context;
- Gathering data and analysing it for suitability;
- Producing strategic flood risk maps, GIS deliverables and a technical report; and
- Providing suitable guidance.
Please view our level 1 SFRA supporting documents, relating to all councils.
