Clean Air Day & Cycle Charities
We are currently working with Fresh Hope Cycle Project, Cyclists for Cancer and Wheel Good Vibes to get more children on bikes in Gloucestershire. To celebrate Clean Air Day, the charities visited Dunalley Primary School, Cheltenham to chat all things bikes, their charities, play games, give away prizes (including free bike helmets) and sell some secondhand bicycles. We'll be visiting more schools from September.
*** The Fresh Hope Cycle Project needs volunteers! If you would like to be trained in bike repair and maintenance free of charge and volunteer your time to fixing bikes and giving back to the community, please reach out to the Cycle Project here: Cycle Project - Fresh Hope ***
Abbie Ayre and the Shed of Science
Performance in Education delivered their 'Abbie Ayre and the Shed of Science' workshop to 10 primary schools in Gloucestershire during the week of Clean Air Day. The engaging and interactive performance and workshop investigates the causes and concerns of poor air quality and promotes safe active travel to primary school.
