Our Head of ASC Operations - Long Term Services role is unique in its scope and opportunity for the right candidate to demonstrate the breadth of their skills and capabilities.
We’re ambitious in our vision for the county and its people, and therefore we’re looking for someone equally as ambitious. Our vision is to make the most of all that Gloucestershire has to offer, help improve the quality of life for every community, support businesses to be successful and make sure the county is a place where people want to live, work and visit.
We know that to deliver on this vision, we need to be clear on our ambitions and we’ve described these in our council strategy. In Gloucestershire we recognise that we work as part of a wider system, serving our community and are proud of our working relationships with partners, including Gloucestershire’s six district councils, police, and voluntary sector, as well as a well-established Integrated Care System.
Our new Head of ASC Operations - Long Term Services will play a key part within our Adult Social Care (ASC) senior leadership team, working closely with the Assistant Director of ASC Operations - Long Term Services, and will lead on lead transformation, empowering teams, and delivering life-changing outcomes for our communities.
The county of Gloucestershire is also a great place to live and work, with vibrant towns, beautiful countryside, impressive schools, and great travel connections.
We are interested to hear from candidates whose ambitions match our own at the council. The right candidate will already have experience in leadership, management and the development of teams, along with a desire to progress these skills further, and bring passion and positive challenge to an already strong team of skilled directors and assistant directors.
