What is the role of the Local Transport Plan (LTP)?
The Gloucestershire Local Transport Plan (2020-2041) (PDF, 10.6 MB) sets out the long-term strategic transport vision for the County to 2041. Gloucestershire’s vision for transport is:
‘A resilient transport network that enables sustainable economic growth by providing travel choices for all, making Gloucestershire a better place to live, work and visit’
Gloucestershire County Council is now updating the Local Transport Plan. This will help shape the future of transport across the county over the next 15 years and beyond.
On the 23rd September, we are seeking Cabinet approval to undertake a 6-week public consultation on the draft Gloucestershire Local Transport Plan (LTP) in Autumn 2026. The Cabinet Report, draft LTP Strategy and supporting LTP documents will be saved on this webpage.
