Transport Policy for Students Aged 16-19
The Post 16 Transport Policy Statement (PDF, 211.7 KB) for the 2025-26 academic year details the travel options for learners attending mainstream schools/colleges and for learners with a learning difficulty or disability attending other settings.
Following public consultation and a Cabinet decision on 20 April 2016 - see the report below - we will no longer provide automatic subsidised support for mainstream learners aged 16+ and information for Post 16 learners wishing to purchase a pass on a school bus can be found on httpss://www.gloucestershire.gov.uk/spareseat
