What Course Options are Available?

  • 3 Month Course
    • 12 weeks of one-to-one personalised employment support
    • 10 weeks of daily English classes (Monday to Friday) 
  • 6 Month Course
    • 24 weeks of one-to-one personalised employment support
    • 17 weeks of English classes (3 days a week) 

What  does STEP give me?

  • English Language Support
    • Live, teacher-led online classes (morning, afternoon, or evening).
    • 12 months’ access following the programme to English Online (webinars + exercises).
    • IELTS preparation and mock test available for advanced learners.
  • Employment Support
    • Weekly 1:1 session with your own Employment Advisor.
    • Help with CVs, job applications, interviews, and career planning.
    • Skills training, qualification checks, and self-employment support.
    • Weekly employer webinars with live job opportunities.

Need a laptop? A laptop loan scheme is available if you do not have access to a computer.

STEP is available to those who are:

  • A refugee or forced migrant from Ukraine living in the UK
  • Age 18 or older
  • Unemployed, working less than 16 hours/week, or on a zero-hour contract
  • Able to commit to regular sessions

Please note that if you have previously registered for the STEP programme you can reapply, but will not be given priority over new applicants.

Can write in full sentences and paragraphs.
