Covenant activities
In Gloucestershire, a partnership forum meets quarterly to discuss the activities of partners and how best to support current and former service members and their families across the county.
Partners include:
- Gloucestershire County Council
- District councils
- Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust
- Gloucestershire Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust
- Gloucestershire Integrated Care Board (ICB)
- The Royal British Legion
- Royal Air Forces Association (RAFA)
- Blind Veterans UK
- SSAFA – The Armed Forces Charity
- Wessex Reserve Forces and Cadets Association
The partnership is chaired by County Councillor Sarah Hands, Gloucestershire County Council’s Armed Forces Champion

The partnership meetings are hosted by the county council, but the work of the Covenant in Gloucestershire is a shared responsibility. All partners are committed to ensuring that those who have served are not disadvantaged by their service.
If your organisation would like to support the Armed Forces community and attend the partnership forum, please contact: afcovenant@gloucestershire.gov.uk
