Here you'll find clear, up-to-date information on local support, news and developments, all shaped by what you tell us matters most. A welcome from Gloucestershire Parent Carer Forum (GPCF). In this article the GPCF share news about the some of the meetings and boards they'll be attending, ensuring that Parent Carer voice, and that of their families, is heard. Summer Fun and Support for Families with SEND in Gloucestershire. In this article, GPCF tell us about a range of inclusive, welcoming activities designed with Parent Carers and children in mind, from relaxed Stay and Play sessions to supportive peer groups and family fun days, alongside extra help through the Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) programme, where needed. This article looks at how having an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) and engaging in consultations with schools can at times feel overwhelming and offers information to help demystify the process and support you to make informed decisions, alongside the case co-ordinator for your child or young person, who is there to guide and support you.
