Plan Activation and Responsible Officers

7.1    The following posts have the responsibility for Plan Activation. Managers will cover for one another where appropriate:

Services to Adults – 18 to 65	Head of Integrated Commissioning – Brokerage & Market Management Assistant Director, Strategic Lead for Long Term service - Adults
Services to Older People	Head of Integrated Commissioning (Older People)
Services to People with Disabilities	Head of Integrated Commissioning (Learning and Physical Disabilities
Significant safeguarding failing	Head of Safeguarding

7.2    The responsible manager may appoint an Incident Manager for the purposes of day-to-day project management activating either an Urgent Checklist or the Longer- Term Planned Closure Toolkit. Both tools outline the setting up of an Incident Management Team and the responsibility for managing any one incident.

7.3    Wider emergency contingency planning of vulnerable people is detailed in the Local Resilience Forum (LRF) Vulnerable People Plan, which is written and reviewed by the Civil Protection Team (CPT).
