Purpose

3.1    The purpose of this policy is:

• to outline criteria to activate the urgent closure response plan
  
  
• to incorporate new guidance on actions to be taken in the event of temporary provider disruption/permanent closure
  
  
• ensure care and support needs of all individuals accessing the service can continue to be met in the event of an immediate business failure by a regulated care provider in Gloucestershire
